Oops - thought this was on Faci’s account, and typed out a novel before realizing.
Initially, it was because our last Adam/Beast (our dear, sweet Cor, who now plays Ariel) wanted an active Belle to play with, since the one we had, at the time, was commonly scarce. Much like I am now, I’m afraid. But, before I did manage to snatch her up, I began to realize that I did want to play Belle, for myself, because Belle was the only princess I actually cared for when I was a kid.
I remembered that I connected with Belle. Little bitty 4-6 year old me was pretty much an outcast that surrounded herself with books, theatre, and classical arts which led to a good deal of teasing and shunning by my classmates, both in regular school and advancement school. Belle was kind of like my only friend growing up. But now, at 21, I identify in a far different way - many people, locally, focus on how I look and my odd personality quirks, rather than actually paying attention to the things I have to genuinely offer to conversations or to the community.
TL;DR - Because our Adam needed her and she has a personality I can comprehend, expand, and flesh out/explore, without ruining the character.

NO. NO “D’AWWW”ING AT ME. NOT ALLOWED.
♦ - Relationship Status
I happen to currently be in a (budding) relationship with this kind and loving young woman.
↕ - State/Country you’re from
Alabama, USA. Redneck capital, if you will.
☻ - Fandoms
Oh boy. Lessee. Disney (obviously), Once Upon a Time, Stargate: Universe, Phantom of the Opera, California Solo, Les Misérables, Notre-Dame de Paris, Harry Potter, My Mad Fat Diary, and, uh… a lot of others. Does Robert Carlyle count as a fandom? He should. And not just because I’d jump him in an instant, either.
….do I have to? Okay. I’m not paying the medical bills for any damage done, though.
this was back around Yule though, so I no longer have red hair. AH’M NAE LONGER AH GIN-JEEEH! Ahem, pardon the Scots.
≡ Video and Board games
Video game would definitely be Final Fantasy XI, even though I haven’t played in going on 4 years now. As for board game… to be quite honest, I’m not sure. A friend of mine has an Alice in Wonderland board game that’s incredibly fun, but it’s definitely best played if you’ve got a fair sized group.
◘ - Random Fact about Mun
I am auditioning next Saturday for a part in a local production of Les Mis and I am terrified out of my wits about it.
ooc: I am a huge Phish Food fan. That being said, there are certain circumstances where I prefer Half Baked, but only because it fits the situation. <.<

Ariel nodded understandingly, then gasped, getting an idea. “Oh! Well, at least let me get it wrapped for you, and then take you home, if you wish.” She nodded, determined. “And get a chance to rest. Have you travelled far? Where are you from?”
Ariel now became excited, and she gently led Belle by the hand before picking up the dresses.
Belle laughed, “Alright, that I can agree to. The wrapping, I mean - I’m rather afraid you won’t be quite capable of taking me home unless you plan on staying for quite some time to recuperate A ten days journey, even by horse, is quite tiring.”
Looking across to the dresses Ariel carried, Belle put her book away into the small satchel at her side that she wore on her shoulder, opening up the hand she held out in offering, “You helped me earlier, so at least allow me to assist you in carrying your packages.”

“Aw, that’s not necessary.” Ariel giggled and gently pushed the coins back to Belle, then dug into her purse and placed a gold piece on the counter.
“It’s not really a big deal, Belle; they only fell, after all. Nothing is ripped or bent, thankfully!”
Belle smiled kindly and picked the piece up and tried to hand it back to Ariel, while replacing the coins she’d placed earlier, “Thank you, but I would much rather pay for an accident that I caused through my own stubborn ways. And there’s always the potential for cracked spines, damaged pages, torn bindings under the surface…”
Fading off, she shrugged, “With that many falling at such a rapid pace, something surely must have gotten damaged and I won’t have the shopkeeper lacking in profit from damaged goods on my account.”
